Peaceful Protest Rallies – Saturday, April 25. Rallies will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the corner of Hwy 13 and Hwy 64 .

The conversation about diversity, equity, and inclusivity is expanding daily and will continue to evolve in 2025. While we have seen some improvements in creating a safe and accepting space for all people, there’s always more work to do. A peaceful and productive society is dependent on both diversity and inclusion. The Democratic Party of Taylor County supports diversity and inclusion.

Annual observance remembering the death of Jesus Christ, held after sunset.

Promotes understanding and acceptance of autistic individuals and their families.
April 2-9 – Jewish: Passover*
Commemorates the liberation of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt.
April 5 – Christian: Easter
Celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ in many Western Christian churches.
April 14 – Sikh, Hindu: Vaisakhi
Marks the founding of the Khalsa for Sikhs and the spring harvest in many parts of South Asia.
